A free to the public monument/headstone cleaning and repair workshop will be held on April 23, 2022 starting at 10:00am at the beautiful Riverside Cemetery located at 496 Riverside Street, Waterbury, Connecticut 06708. 

The workshop will include instruction regarding proper gravestone cleaning of various stone types and a "Do's and Don'ts" of headstone cleaning information sheet will be provided. The repair portion of workshop could include: leveling/up-righting tablets, restacking a multi-tiered monument or rejoining and infilling a fractured monument.  

Please wear weather appropriate clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Cleaning materials and nitrile or latex gloves will be provided. Eye protection is advised. A pair of work gloves, if you have any, would be beneficial when working on repairs.

This 'No Skills Needed' workshop is hosted and funded by Martin Bengal of Riverside Cemetery and Monument Preservation & Restoration PLLC.
