2022 Haunted House and Trolley Tours
October 7-8, 2022 |
As the leaves change colors,
the pumpkins ripen, and the air becomes crisp, it is evident that autumn has
fallen upon us. These are the chills of the season, but it is also the season
of chills. The Warren County Historical Society is holding its annual Haunted House
and Trolley Tours on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October, 8th,
2022 from 6:00-9:00 PM each night.
The public is invited to enter the Victorian mansion of the
Warren County Historical Society, 210 Fourth Avenue, Warren, and experience
those chills of the season, the shivers of the spine and the prickles of the
hairs standing up on your neck. Ghosts and haunts will be roaming the halls and
lurking in the shadows. Maybe you have seen the figures peering out the window
at night. Now is your chance to mingle with them, test your courage, and see if
you can make it all the way through to the dark, creepy, and haunted second
story of the Struthers-Wetmore-Schimmelfeng House.
To add to the mystique of the evening, take a ride on the
horse-drawn trolley as it takes you down the old, brick streets of Warren’s
historic district. Feel the chill in the air as storytellers reveal some of the
macabre tales of our town’s unluckiest early citizens.
Trolley tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door. This
includes the Haunted House and Trolley ride. Tickets may be purchased at the
Historical Society, 210 Fourth Avenue, Warren, or at www.warrenhistory.org.
Advanced purchase is recommended. First
come, first served.
The Warren County Historical Society’s hours of operation
are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For more information, please
call (814) 723-1795, visit www.warrenhistory.org, or
