Special Presentation & Annual Meeting 2023

The Warren County
Historical Society is pleased to host a special presentation, “The Role of
Intelligence in the Revolutionary War,” by retired CIA agent, Michael Ganske,
on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 6:30 PM at the Warren County Courthouse, 204
Fourth Avenue, Warren, PA.
The program will
explain the significance of “sources” during the Revolutionary War and the
understanding of methodologies utilized, such as The Culper Spy Ring. Mr.
Ganske will also discuss the dynamics and impact of espionage as practiced during
the Revolutionary War, and provide a case study of Benedict Arnold.
Mr. Ganske is the
past Lead Instructor for the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) on
defensive counterintelligence, as well as a former agent of the CIA. He is a
United States Army veteran and has held many high-level positions in his field.
The Warren County
Historical Society’s Annual Membership meeting will begin at 6:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public. For
