The Lamplighter is a novel based on a screenplay that won six international awards in 2021 and is destined to become a period drama movie. The journeys of three people from extremely different backgrounds culminate in the building of a lighthouse. Not just any lighthouse, but the one that may have changed the course of modern literature forever.
We have all experienced ‘lamplighters’ in our lives. Perhaps an inspiring teacher, parent or good friend has helped change the course of your own life’s events. Likewise, major changes in history may have taken a turn due to a simple, chance meeting or the sharing of views between strangers. Lamplighters are everywhere for those who dare to hope.
