Cultivating a Culture of Reuse

Cultivating a Culture of Reuse

***Free live webinar!***

What happens when a building has exhausted all options? Join Stephanie Phillips and learn how to build a culture of reuse in your community.

After this historic winter, many property owners are likely wondering about their options after barns, outbuildings, and other uninhabited structures have collapsed!

Join the Utah SHPO as we welcome Stephanie Phillips to our Brown Bag Lecture Series, ringing in Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month! She runs the Deconstruction and Circular Economy Program for the City of San Antonio, Texas, and she will share with us how this program is spearheading how preservation and deconstruction can work hand-in-hand to create a more just and sustainable world. This presentation will highlight how aligning stakeholders in climate action, affordable housing, historic preservation, real estate and development, innovation, workforce training, and public health can affect transformative, place-based policy change.
