The Assassination of Judge Allison Wade

January 12, 2024
The Assassination of Judge Allison Wade

The Warren County Historical Society is pleased to host a special presentation, “70th Anniversary of Shots Heard around Warren County,” presented by Warren County Assistant District Attorney Cody Brown.

Join us at the Warren County Courthouse, 204 Market Avenue, Warren, on Tuesday, January 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

A. D. A. Brown graduated from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, during which time he was employed as an intern for the Michigan Attorney General’s Office. After graduation, he was employed as a Judicial Law Clerk for the 37th Judicial District, clerking for the Honorable Maureen A. Skerda, Honorable Gregory J. Hammond, and the Honorable William F. Morgan.

Assistant District Attorney Cody Brown will give a tour of the main courtroom where Judge Allison Wade was assassinated 70 years ago. Come and learn for yourself what happened that day leading up to the gun shots and after the smoke cleared.

This event is free and open to the public.
