Fort Walla Walla Days
June 14-15, 2008 |
Walk through encampments of mountain men and 19th-century soldiers, and talk with historical re-enactors. See cannon and firearm demonstrations. Visit with tribal members from the Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. See a pioneer settlement with 17 original buildings including cabins, playhouses, a jail, schools and a barbershop. See the largest collection of horse-era agriculture in the inland Northwest and take in a Western art show of regional artists.
Hours and Cost: 10am - 5pm through Sunday, Fort Walla Walla Museum, 755 Myra Road. $7, $6 students and age 62 & older, $3 ages 6-12, 5 and younger free. |
