Goshen Jr. High School Presents: The Servant of Two Masters

February 2, 2024
Goshen Jr. High School Presents: The Servant of Two Masters

Adapted and Translated by Lance Davis and further adapted by Goshen Junior High students (past and present)

Directed by Angela Stoltzfus

Date: Feb. 2, 2024 (First Fridays)
Where: Goshen Theater
When: 6:00pm and 7:30 pm
Cost: Goodwill offering at the door. $3 per person suggested.

Play summary: The story the zany—and chronically hungry—servant Truffaldino makes a plan to double his wages (and his meals) by serving two masters at once; one of his 'masters' is in fact a lady in disguise, and the other master is her boyfriend, but Truffaldino doesn't know this. Identities are mistaken, engagements are broken, and love is revived in this brilliant example of the Commedia dell’Arte style. The Servant of Two Masters has been entertaining global audiences for over 250 years! So, be a part of theater history and join us for some fun!
