The Archaeology of a Finger Lake Ghost Town: The Frost Town Project

Since 2017, SUNY Brockport’s Department of Anthropology has been investigating Frost Town, an abandoned 19th century logging town located on the property of the Cumming Nature Center. Assistant Professor of Anthropology Dr. Alexander J. Smith will discuss the history and remains of Frost Town, as well as the unique challenges and implications of uncovering a ghost town in the Finger Lakes Region.
