More than 100 volunteers contribute over 9,000 hours each year to support our historic sites and mission. From museum docents and garden helpers to event support and public programs, HA relies on dedicated volunteers.

Our volunteers are the heart of HA—their enthusiasm and commitment strengthen our connection to visitors and to Annapolis itself. If you’re passionate about history, gardening, or lifelong learning, we have meaningful opportunities for you.

With the growth of the Museum of Historic Annapolis and expanded tours and field trips, we’re excited to welcome new volunteers to help us serve our community. Volunteers are needed in a variety of positions: Paca House Docents, Garden Volunteers, Education Program Volunteers, and Special Event Volunteers. Come to learn more!
