Quarrying History / 7th Biennial on Construction History

The Construction History Society of America (CHSA) invites researchers from all aspects of the history of construction to submit abstracts for Quarrying History, the 7th Biennial Meeting on Construction History hosted by Indiana University / Bloomington from May 29-30, 2020.
All subjects relating to construction history in the Americas are considered, including stone construction, specific projects, building trades, regulation, structural analysis, engineering, tools and materials, archaeology, preservation, education and all aspects of the profession. Some of the finest limestone in the United States can be found in the hills around Bloomington, Indiana, where stonecutters sourced the stone from massive quarries – CHSA is pleased to announce a tour exploring a working mill and historic quarry in the Conference schedule.
Abstract deadline is January 2, 2020.
Quarrying Historyfollows successful biennial meetings of the CHSA held in College Park, MD (2018), Austin, TX (2016), Minneapolis, MN (2014), Cambridge, MA (2012), Philadelphia, PA (2010), and Atlanta, GA (2008).
