Analysis & Interpretation of an Historic House Museum

Meant for a broad audience, this special 1-day workshop takes place in Nashville at the historic Buchanan House Museumwhere two structures will be exam-
ined and evaluated. The day includes a morning narrated walking tour, a box lunch and an afternoon of discussion on interpreting the proper restoration period for each of the houses on the site.
Douglass Reed has been working with wood since 1972. He is a remarkably experienced historian, preservationist and instructor. Doug is an author, a preservation consultant, architectural historian, craftsman, teacher and technical consultant. His business, Preservation Associates, Inc., is based in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania.
