Alex Theatre's 95th Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, September 5, 2020, from 9am - 9pm, the Alex Theatre’s 95th Birthday will bring people together through stories, reflections, interviews, activities, and performances. Using online technologies and a telethon format, the virtual benefit will share the wonder and promise of the Alex Theatre with all ages, neighborhoods, and communities.
Our 95th birthday celebration will raise much-needed funding for the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale, California, and preserve it as a world-class performing arts and entertainment center and a local treasure. While the magnitude of the battles ahead with arts funding is real, our purpose remains unchanged: to tell stories, cultivate hope, promote solidarity, and transform tragedy into reminders that good is all around us.
