September 22-24, 2022 |
The National Preservation Institute (NPI) is pleased to be a sponsor for 2022 Preserving the Historic Road International (PHRI). The conference will be hosted in downtown Portland, Oregon, September 22-24, 2022. Established in 1998, the conference is a global forum regarding issues of identification, preservation, and management for historic roads. For more information and to register, visit www.historicroads.org.
After four years of planning, the conference returns with a dynamic new format, designed to meet the challenges for historic roads in the coming decades. PHRI will engage attendees in direct conversations with experts, put participants in the field with some of America’s greatest roads, and invite a reimagination of how we identify, preserve, and manage the next generation of historic roads.
To help prepare for Portland, NPI is offering all PHRI 2022 registered conference attendees a free online training course. A leader in preservation and heritage education, NPI offers online, on-demand courses, webinars, and in-person training, with topics ranging from Section 106 basics to historic roads. Registered PHRI conference attendees, please contact Jere Gibber to have the $100 NPI online training course registration fee waived. 703.765.0100 or info@npi.org (offer expires September 25, 2022).
Choose between:
• Cultural Landscapes: An Overview, Nancy J. Brown, FASLA, instructor
