SALON is an international event celebrating and preserving the best of historic and contemporary decorative painting work used in restoration, and  residential  and commercial decor.   Exhibit of masterworks and live painting event features professional decorative artisans from over 25 different countries  demonstrating specialized techniques such as faux bois, ornamentation, gilding, mural painting, and trompe l'oeil.   This event will be of particular interest to designers and architects as well as creative students looking for career inspiration.

SALON is a non profit event that travels to a new city each year, and is being held for the first time in California by San Francisco muralist Lynne Rutter and sponsored by Artistic License- A Guild of Artisans.
