Ever wonder who was responsible for designing some of your favorite buildings in Rochester? This class will provide an introduction to the many local architects and their building designs that have shaped the city we all know and love today. Learn about landmarks like City Hall and the Powers Building - some houses too - and expect lots of eye candy visuals, fun facts, and maybe even a bit of historical gossip! In the Rulemakers class, we’ll focus on the 19th- and 20th-century architects who employed a more traditional approach to design.
