Our Mission is to promote the fine arts through educational programs and exhibits, provide meeting facilities for educational organizations, and honor the legacy of the Heard and Craig families through the preservation of the historic properties.

HISTORIC BUILDING & MUSEUM TOURS

The Heard-Craig Center for the Arts is open for GUIDED TOURS:

Our Historic Museum Tour is $10 (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 PM). No reservation is necessary, but it’s appreciated. Tours can be booked by appointment for Saturdays and Sundays.

Our Speciality Tours (Chinese New Year Tour, Mardi Gras Tour, and more) ($15) are highlighted during the month offered. 

Group Tours (over 6 people) can be scheduled to meet your needs. We are a beautiful museum venue for women’s groups, girl scout troops, travel clubs, McKinney visitors, antique clubs, church groups, Red Hat groups, and more.

We have a Top-Rated Non-Profit designation.

The Heard-Craig has a longstanding presence in the community, providing education and artistic opportunities to all.

In addition, we are an event venue for weddings , engagements, birthday parties, meetings, etc..
