WELCOME TO RUTHMERE ARTS AND HISTORY CAMPUS

Ruthmere Campus comprises three two historic properties that engage visitors with unique experience of history, art and architecture. Whether you are taking a guided tour of Ruthmere Mansion or the historic Havilah Beardsley House, listening to a concert, participating in an educational program, or celebrating your nuptials with an unforgettable garden wedding, the experiences at Ruthmere are one of a kind and make a difference.

GUIDED HISTORIC TOURS

Personally guided tours are available at both Ruthmere Mansion and the Havilah Beardsley House. Ruthmere Campus docents have built an unparalleled reputation for excellence in knowledge, warmth and charm. Learn about the history of the founding of Elkhart, the Beardsley family and their legacy of art, architecture and culture from a Ruthmere Campus expert guide.

All Ruthmere visitors are to start their tour experience at the Havilah Beardsley House at 102 W. Beardsley Ave. You will need to start at this location to pay for your tour (regardless of whether or not you are touring the Havilah Beardsley House) and view the orientation video. Tours start on the hour.

Regular Tour Times for Both Sites:

Tuesday through Saturday:

Tours on the hour at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm & 3 pm

Sunday: Tours at 1 pm, 2 pm & 3 pm.

Monday: Museum sites CLOSED.

The museum operates on Eastern Time.

Adult – $15

Student – $10

Children under 5 are admitted free with adults.

Senior (60 yrs.) Discount Day $10 on Wednesdays

 

Havilah Beardsley House Tour

Adult – $10

Student – $5

Children under 5 are admitted free with adults.

Senior (60 yrs.) Discount Day $5 on Wednesdays

 

Campus Day Pass (both locations)

Adult – $20

Student – $10

Senior (60 yrs.) Discount Day $15 on Wednesdays

 

We do not sell advanced tour tickets online; however, we DO encourage advanced reservations for tours.  To make a reservation, simply call 574-264-0330 during normal times of operation. For groups of 10 or more, reservations are REQUIRED with 3 weeks’ advance notice. See our group tours page for more information.

On Free Family Sundays, the first Sunday of the months April-November, EITHER Ruthmere OR Havilah Beardsley House is CLOSED while the free tours are conducted at the other site. See Free Family Sunday page for specific dates.
