For over 50 years, John Canning & Company has taken immense pride in dedicating itself to the historic restoration, conservation, and preservation of buildings throughout the United States.
We are experts in ornamental plaster restoration, plaster stabilization, decorative finishes, gilding, artwork/murals, historic woodwork, and stone. In addition to our trade services, we offer preconstruction, design, and planning services. Our deep respect for the decoration, its history, and our clients’ needs, combined with years of knowledge and training, has entrusted us with restoring landmark Theatres, Churches, Museums, Libraries, State Capitols, Courthouses, Educational Buildings, and some of our Nation’s most historic buildings.
Office hours: Weekdays 8 am-5 pm
Based in CT, but our coverage area is across the country.
