We're so close! If you haven't already contributed (or want to give more!), you can still help push us over the top. Contributions made prior to August 31 will be matched, up to a total of $50,000. These funds are urgently needed to help us balance the budget and avoid cuts beyond the 20% reduction in staff time and expenses we have already responsibly instituted to meet current economic realities.
This news comes courtesy of the more than 80 generous donors who have already contributed. Heartfelt thanks to those supporters who have stepped up, either to create or match the Operations Challenge. We are all deeply appreciative every time we continue to be able to unlock the front doors of the Center and welcome our enthusiastic exhibit visitors and program attendees.
Special Challenge Match Update! At last week's Board of Directors meeting, past president Rick Michaelson generously offered to match any contributions made by August 31st even if we exceed our original $50,000 goal. So, keep those donations coming in to be doubled!
