Historic New England is pleased to offer $1,000 project-based Community Preservation grants to one Affiliate member in each of the six New England states. When founding Historic New England in 1910, William Sumner Appleton conceived of "state accounts" to support preservation projects in each state.The Community Preservation grants carry on this tradition and allow Historic New England to work with organizations on preservation projects that benefit the entire region.
Historic New England Affiliate members are encouraged to apply. Application materials must be received by February 28, 2011, at:Office of the President

The application is in PDF form. Applicants may print and fill out the application or type responses into the fields on the form (cutting and pasting from another application is not recommended). All applications must be signed by the organization's director or a board member and mailed.
