Stop the Demolition of the Jensen-Byrd
Historic Preservation Blog from PreservationDirectory.com -
Contributed By: Spokane Preservation Advocates
Email The Author: advocacy@spokanepreservation.org
Website: http://www.spokanepreservation.org/advocacy.asp

Here in Spokane, the host city for this year's NTHP Conference, we're facing the loss of a significant historic warehouse. If you'd like to be involved in some tangible preservation action before you come to Spokane for the Conference, we'd love your support!

Go to our website at www.spokanepreservation.org/advocacy.asp for a copy of the ad SPA placed in last Sunday's Spokesman-Review regarding the proposed demolition of the iconic Jensen-Byrd building. This ad contains a cut-out letter that can be signed and submitted to us as a show of support.  We will be compiling your names in a letter to WSU showing that we stand united in saving this building.

Please print, sign and mail the letter of support!

If you want to see what our President, Matt Cohen, wrote in his op-ed piece,
follow the link below.  It provides a good summary of the issue. Go to: http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2012/jan/07/preservation-is-essential
