2012 List of Oregon's Most Endangered Places - Seeking Nominations
Historic Preservation Blog from PreservationDirectory.com -
Contributed By: Historic Preservation League of Oregon
Email The Author: hplo@historicpreservationleague.org
Website: http://www.historicpreservationleague.org

Now is your chance to nominate houses, barns, bridges, and districts to the 2012 list of Oregon's Most Endangered Places!

Nominations can be submitted by property owners, local governments, or concerned citizens for historic properties in any corner of Oregon. Places that are selected for the final list will receive technical assistance, advocacy, and resources from HPLO staff and volunteers.

To nominate a property, complete and submit a Nomination Form by March 26th, 2012.

The list of 2012's Most Endangered Places will be announced at a benefit luncheon on May 22nd (tickets available now).

And if you're wondering about the 2011 list of places...
The HPLO has awarded $17,500 in grants to seven of the ten 2011 Most Endangered places, putting them on the path of historic designation, reuse, and rehabilitation.

If you're interested in supporting our continuing efforts with these places and our upcoming work with the 2012 Most Endangered Places, consider giving a gift to the HPLO or attending the May 22nd announcement luncheon.
