The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation invites residents of Washington State and students at Washington universities to apply for scholarships that cover conference registration fees and provide a small travel stipend. Scholarship applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis until August 8, 2012. You are encouraged to submit your application early for consideration. Applications will be reviewed and awarded in the order in which they are received.

Electronic submission is preferred. Please e-mail the form to Anne Holland. Please put your first and last name in the subject line followed by “Scholarship Application.”
Scholarship winners should plan to attend the Northwest Regional Scholarship Orientation, the Opening Plenary session and reception on Wednesday, October 31; general educational sessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday November 1-3; and one (1) field session (included as part of the scholarship). We encourage you to attend the Richard H. Driehaus National Preservation Awards program on Friday, November 2 and the closing luncheon featuring Knute Berger on Saturday, November 3.
Scholarship recipients will be reimbursed up to $200 for travel expenses upon submission of receipts and the completion of a follow-up survey.
