The Georgia Alliance of Preservation Commissions (GAPC), in partnership with the Historic Preservation Division, Georgia DNR (HPD), is pleased to announce that it will be awarding 5 scholarships for the 2013 State Historic Preservation Conference & Historic Preservation Commission Training, to be held in Milledgeville on April 26-27. The conference will include a one-and-a-half-day track specifically aimed at addressing issues faced by Georgia’s historic preservation commissions. Full training credit will be given to HPC members and staff who attend from Georgia’s Certified Local Government communities. Scholarship recipients must attend the HPC track to receive the scholarship.
The GAPC Scholarships are for the full HPC registration amount of $125. GAPC members or individuals who serve on an HPC that has a current GAPC membership are eligible to apply.
