The Special Collections and Archives Research Center of the Oregon State University Libraries and Press is researcher proposals for its Resident Scholar Program. The program provides research grants to scholars interested in conducting work in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center (SCARC). Researchers whose proposals detail a compelling potential use of the materials held in the Center applicants will receive monthly stipends, renewable for up to three months. Successful applicants will conduct their scholarly activities while in residence at Oregon State University.

SCARC encourages historians, librarians, graduate, doctoral or post-doctoral students and independent scholars to apply. Detailed information outlining the qualifications necessary for application, as well as the selection process and the award conditions is available via the SCARC website. The proposal deadline is April 30, 2015.
