Window Preservation Alliance Formed
Boston, MA, November 10, 2015– The Window Preservation Alliance (WPA) formed to promote the restoration of original windows – not replacement.

“For so many years the only message homeowners have heard is that original windows are bad and replacement windows are the solution. We hope to change the conversation so the truth about the value of original windows is heard” says Alison Hardy, President of the WPA and owner of Window Woman of New England, Inc.

Companies that repair, refurbish and restore windows exist in every state and province in North America, but they are often small entities with limited marketing resources. The Window Preservation Alliance is bringing them together in order to promote its message and to raise awareness of these great companies and the services they provide. The WPA is creating a resource library of articles, studies, research on important issues such as energy efficiency, green building and materials conservation.  The WPA website  provides a directory of window restorers and allied businesses.

The website for the WPA is www.windowpreservationalliance.org

The mission of the Window Preservation Alliance is to inspire the preservation of original windows by educating the public about the beauty, craftsmanship and energy efficiency of their windows and supporting the people and businesses that restore them.

If you would like more information about the WPA, please contact Alison Hardy at 508-932-9320 or email at windowpreservationalliance@gmail.com.
