Job Posting - Marketing & Communications Coordinator, HistoriCorps (Denver, CO)
Historic Preservation Blog from - job, marketing, communications, historicorps, colorado
Contributed By: Jamie Tobias

HistoriCorps is seeking a Marketing & Communications coordinator to join our Denver-area office team. Resourceful, curious, and creative individuals with a passion for old buildings and history and an acute eye for detail who want to start their career on a unique note are especially encouraged to apply.

HistoriCorps projects take place anywhere a historic structure is waiting to be saved - from mountain tops to island jungles, from desert floors to deep forests (and that was just last year!). If you ever wondered how a small team manages to pull off more than 35 field-based preservation projects annually and found yourself wanting to be part of such a team, we’d like to learn more about you.

If you’re looking for a job that will connect you to career paths in marketing and communications, community outreach, nonprofit management, or historic and cultural resources stewardship, we think you’ll like to learn more about us. And if you’re not afraid to try new things, meet new people, and learn as much as you can along the way, let’s get in touch.

HistoriCorps®, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, promotes hands-on public involvement in the restoration and preservation of historic places and structures on our public lands through the engagement of volunteers, students, veterans, youth training programs and organizations interested in historic preservation. HistoriCorps partners with federal, state and local land management agencies to provide educational and outdoor opportunities, fostering in our participants a lifelong commitment to the stewardship of our historic resources and public lands. From our Denver, CO headquarters, we coordinate and instruct projects on public lands throughout the United States.
