Bardwell-Ferrant House

The Bardwell-Ferrant house was built in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1883.

In the 1890's the house was transformed with the addition of Moorish elements by Norwegian architect Carl Struck.

In the 1980's the vacant, deteriorating house was rescued and revived.  In 2008 the house was foreclosed by Country Wide Financial.   Once the house was vacant, thieves moved in to steal fireplace mantles and attempted to remove stained glass windows.

The house is vacant, for sale, and in need of rescue once again.
