The Neon Museum is announcing new fall hours for tours of the Boneyard, which houses the Museum’s outdoor exhibit of rescued Las Vegas neon signs.
Starting September 16 through December 23, tours will be offered twice a day at noon and 2 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Tours are available by advance reservation only. The Museum is not able to accept same-day reservations without a confirmation by email. Visitors are asked to reserve their tour spot as far in advance as possible, as the number of people per tour is limited and the tours fill up quickly.
The Boneyard is also available for photo and video shoots by qualified individuals and organizations. Usage fees apply and vary according to the type of shoot, number in crew, hours and staff needed and proposed usage of the images.
The Neon Museum’s new Visitors’ Center will be under construction in 2009 at a date to be determined. The historic La Concha Motel Lobby, which was moved to the Boneyard site and restored, will serve as the entryway, and an addition containing offices, restrooms and workspace will be built to complete the structure.
All scheduled tours, photo shoots and media visits are subject to cancellation due to museum construction.
Information on ticket prices and on reserving a tour spot, as well as how to schedule a photo or video shoot, is available online at www.neonmuseum.org or by calling (702) 387-NEON (6366).
