Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council (SPAR)  is excited to announce the return of the Bold City Ball, in partnership with San Marco Preservation Society, Historic Eastside CDC, and the Jacksonville History Center. 

Presented by Sextant Wealth Advisory Group with Raymond James, the 2025 Bold City Ball will take place Friday, September 19, 2025 from 6 PM to 10 PM at the Karpeles Grand in Historic Springfield.

The event, in its second year, celebrates the transformative power of historic preservation in our city. The beautiful architecture and unique character that makes up the fabric of our historic neighborhoods is thanks to the hard work of preservationists, and the Bold City Ball honors that legacy, focusing attention on the ongoing work to protect the historic charm that makes our neighborhoods home.

The Bold City Ball, hosted at the beautifully renovated Karpeles Grand, will be a night of “Old Hollywood Glam,” featuring a live jazz band, open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and more. 

The Karpeles Grand in Springfield is a historic venue, over 100 years old, that has been lovingly restored and upgraded to host weddings, galas, fashion shows and all types of special events. Blending timeless architecture with modern enhancements, it offers guests an unforgettable setting designed to last another century of celebrations.
