First impressions are important. Is your porch looking its best? Whether the porch on the building where you live or work is utilitarian, decorative, or both, you probably want to keep it looking good since it’s the first thing people see when they visit. But where to begin? In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about historic porch components, why and how porches deteriorate, and what tools and materials you can use to preserve and repair them. Anyone with an interest in historic preservation is welcome at this workshop!
