Minds Work on Weekends - Fall 2019
Our goals are to learn about lighthouses their purposes, architecture, history, and stories of their keepers through art. A Fun weekend program that uses ART to teach about lighthouses, lightships and MARITIME environment. Projects include. BUILD your own light station, PAINT a picture of a lighthouse in the fog, CREATE your own lighthouse patch...and more. Classes are inside The National Lighthouse Museum, 200 The Promenade, St. George, (adjacent to the FREE Staten Island Ferry), Staten Island, NY 10301 Saturdays - 9:30 am - 11:00 am Ages 2-12 each child accompanied by adult (no class Nov. 30)
