"Building on Our Heritage" - International Log Builders Association
November 12-15, 2020 |
"Building on Our Heritage" is the theme of the 2020 International Log Building Conference meeting in Nashville in November. Intended to appeal to a broader audience, the program will intrigue historic preservationists, history buffs and the handcraft log builders who still ply the trade.
Keynote speaker is Lisa Sasser, an architect retired from the National Park Service. She now works a a preservation consultant.
Planned in three tracks, the conference will focus on:
1.) Skills Building (hands-on)
2.) Business Building and Management
3.) The Built Environment: design, history, testing and everything else
No ILBA Conference would be complete without its Annual Events:
1.) Slide show (submit yours NOW!)
2.) Auction (contributions appreciated
)3.) Log Builder Games (sharpen your ax)
4.) Trade Show (see what’s new)
5.) TechTalk (bring ideas, inventions, techniques & knotty questions)
The Conference will be full of good folks, varied learning opportunities, great music and the camaraderie you’ll find nowhere else!
In addition, three Pre-Conference Workshops earlier in the week. Find more information elsewhere on this calendar of events.
