We're inviting Ken Bernstein, Principal City Planner and Manager of the City of Los Angeles' Office of Historic Resources (and past director of preservation issues at the L.A. Conservancy) for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his new book, "Preserving Los Angeles: How Historic Places Can Transform America's Cities."
In his book, Bernstein tells the comprehensive story of how historic preservation has revived Los Angeles neighborhoods, created a downtown renaissance, and guided the future of the city. The Conservancy's President and CEO Linda Dishman will moderate this event.
