Virtual Tour & Workshop: Ceramic Styles of the 19th-Century

April 25-26, 2021

The Mount Vernon Hotel would have been a showcase of ceramic styles popular in the 19th century. Join us for a virtual tour of the Museum’s collection of British, French and Chinese ceramics with a close-up look at both the handpainted and transferware pieces. We will then explore the transferware process, followed by a demonstration on how you can use a version of that process to create a jewelry pendant at home.
