Pacific Northwest History Conference
March 1, 2022 |
The Pacific Northwest History Conference is a forum for exchange among historians, scholars from other disciplines, museum professionals, educators, archivists, historic preservationists, graduate students, history enthusiasts and community members.
The theme for this year's conference, happening September 30 & October 1, 2022 in Tri-Cities, Washington, is "Down the Rabbit Hole: Creativity and Curiosity in Northwest History."
We invite contributions from historians and others interested in the histories of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and British Columbia. We seek applications from academic, tribal, and community-based researchers and from those working outside the traditional bounds of historical practice.
Proposals for individual presentations, panels, and posters must be submitted electronically by 5 PM on March 1.
The Pacific Northwest History Conference is hosted by the Washington State Historical Society with support from the Oregon Historical Society.
