The Old Poydras High School, now the Julien Poydras Center will be celebrating its 100th birthday, Saturday, April 27th and Sunday April 28th. You are invited to take part in the celebration!

Saturday, April 27th we will hold a Street Dance under a big tent on the Poydras Center front lawn. The cost will be $10.00 per person. We will have food trucks and music by: The Cool Beans. (6:00 pm to 10:00 pm)

Sunday we will have our Annual Jazz Brunch Fundraiser. It will also be on the front lawn of The Poydras Center. We will have a big tent with a catered meal by the collaborative duo of Ma Mama's and Not Your Mama's. The music will be by the Joint Southern & LSU Jazz Quintet  Price for the Jazz Brunch is $150 per person. (12:00 noon to 3:00 pm)

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 15th. 2024 PCHS members, look for an email with your discount code that will be good for 2 weeks, until December 29th.

We will also have a donor board and all sponsorships over $100 will be placed on the permanent donor board on the first floor of the Poydras Center. Consider adding your name and help to keep the Poydras Center alive for another 100 years.
