Built by real estate broker/builder Albert H Beach in 1896. Acquired shortly after in 1900 by H. A. Putnam who invented a fence wire barbing machine. Then in 1901 sold to it Henry H. Timken, inventor and business man who founded the Timken Roller Bearing Company.Art dealer and collector Harry Parashis and his wife, Letitia, bought the home in 1997, and spent several years bringing it to its "original Victorian ornate grandeur.".
