Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Secretary of Interior Historic Preservation Awards. The annual awards program recognizes individuals at multiple levels of government for outstanding contributions to historic preservation. The award comes with a special citation and a monetary award of $1,000. Nominees must be individuals whose contributions surpass the expected scope of their position, and whose creativity and expertise have significantly fostered the overall goals of the National Historic Preservation Act.
