Places with a Past Historic Home and Building Tour

Places with a Past, is a self-guided/docent tour of historic homes and buildings in the city of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Saturday, August 1st., from 9-4 pm.
- Visit Montezuma Castle, the deluxe Harvey hotel and spa built in the late 1880's to attract travelers coming west on the newly finished Santa Fe Railroad.
- Take in New Mexico Highland's University's newly renovated Rogers Hall to see magnificent WPA murals and hear from guest docent Kathy Flynn, Executive Director of the National New Deal Preservation Association.
- Meet gracious homeowners who open their homes to ticket holders to view restored adobe dwellings and renovated Victorian Homes.
