Scott Hatt was an artist specializing in collage art.  He created collages by hand in his early career and, later, digital collages. He owned and operated a gallery named “Spurious Fugitive” in South Bend from 2005 – 2009, featuring cutting-edge regional and national artists.  His work was exhibited throughout the country, including California, Florida, Massachusetts, and many galleries regionally, including the South Bend Museum of Art. 

Scott passed away in 2021 at the age of 64.  His entire output of artwork was bequeathed to his close friend, David Barton.  The works in this exhibition are on loan from Barton.
