Join John Howard of the Bronx Art Deco Apartment House Archive (BADAHA) for a walking tour exploring art-deco designed buildings in the Kingsbridge Heights and Fordham Manor neighborhoods of the Bronx. Many buildings in these neighborhoods are adorned with iconic Art Deco architectural details that rival the Grand Concourse yet remain largely unknown. The tour will feature some well preserved, and some less well preserved, Art Deco apartment houses that are vulnerable to loss of historic elements that give them their distinctive style.
