Join the Utah State Historic Preservation Office & Preservation Utah for the 2026 Preservation Engaged: Celebrating Utah's Communities conference! For the first year ever we have optional add-on tours available the day before the main event on Thursday, June 11th, at historic Ogden Union Station and the Ogden Forest Service Building. Friday's main conference will take place at historic Ogden High School, Utah's "million dollar school" and art deco gem. Friday day will start with a keynote presentation followed by a full day of sessions across three tracks: Preservation, Main Street & Preservation Planning, and Cultural Resources. If you care about Utah's historic places, this event is for you! From networking and provisions provided by local businesses, to sessions exploring historic districts, adaptive reuse, downtown revitalization, signage, and historic barns -it's sure to be a good time. Registration will close one week before the event, on Friday, June 5th, so don't delay!
