About Bucks County Joyrides
Bucks County Joyrides offers private, top-down Jeep tours through the back roads, covered bridges, river towns, and Revolutionary War history of upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Every tour is guided personally by the owner, a local history researcher who brings the stories of these places to life along the way.

History You Can Ride Through
Our tours visit sites most visitors never see, from historic mills and 18th-century homes to the roads once traveled by the Doan Gang, the Loyalist outlaw family that terrorized Revolutionary-era Bucks County. Our stories are built on documented history, including period confessions and local archives.

Our Tours
All prices are per private tour, for up to 4 guests.

Doan Gang Plumstead Joyride – 2.5 hours, 41 miles, $275 – Book Now

Visit the actual sites of their robberies, the taverns and inns tied to their story, the Plumstead Friends Meetinghouse, the graves of a gang member and one of their pursuers, and the creek where the Halsey Cabin shootout took place. Were they villains or heroes? Ride along and decide for yourself.
