The L’Enfant Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 to preserve and revitalize Washington, D.C.’s historic communities. The Trust, an early pioneer of the use of conservation easements, holds over 1,155 easements protecting Washington, D.C.’s historic buildings from demolition or inappropriate alterations. The Trust’s innovative and award-winning Historic Properties Redevelopment Program acquires and rehabilitates distressed historic buildings where such rehabilitation will have a positive impact on community revitalization.

The Trust seeks an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations & Communications Manager to manage day-to-day operations, communications, development support, and administrative functions. This unique role presents an excellent opportunity to work directly with and give strategic input to the head of a small, dynamic, non-profit working at the intersection of historic preservation and community revitalization.
