L.A. Conservancy Recognized with the Trustees’ Award for Excellence

In January 2025, after a system of wildfires burned over 50,000 acres across Los Angeles County and destroyed more than 16,000 structures, the Los Angeles Conservancy, World Monuments Fund, and Architectural Resources Group partnered to ensure that heritage sites were accounted for in post-disaster documentation and recovery operations.  

A year after the devastating wildfires, we are honored to receive the California Preservation Foundation’s 2026 Trustees’ Award for Excellence for our Rapid-Response Heritage Documentation project with World Monuments Fund and Architectural Resources Group for this work.
