The New Hampshire Preservation Alliance and The 1772 Foundation are accepting Letters of Inquiry for 2027 one-to-one matching grants of up to $10,000 for historic preservation projects. Eligible work includes exterior painting and surface restoration; fire detection, lightning protection and security systems; porch, roof and window repair; foundation and sill repair; and chimney and masonry repointing. New this year, a pilot climate-action track can fund energy audits, insulation, alternative energy, upgraded systems and storm windows, with preference for decarbonization.

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations that own the building or hold a long-term lease on it. Letters of Inquiry are due December 2, 2026.
