Preservation New Jersey launched its annual membership drive earlier this month. We thank you for considering joining or renewing your membership with Preservation New Jersey. Whether you are a longtime supporter or becoming a member for the first time, we are excited to welcome you to our growing community of preservation advocates.

Since 1978, Preservation New Jersey has been the state's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting New Jersey's historic places. Our mission is to enhance the economic vitality, sustainability, and cultural heritage of communities across the state through advocacy, education, and preservation initiatives.

As we enter 2026, Preservation New Jersey is experiencing an exciting period of growth. We are expanding our programming, strengthening partnerships, increasing outreach, and launching new initiatives that connect people with the places that define New Jersey's history. From educational programs and advocacy efforts to technical assistance and community engagement, we are working to ensure that preservation remains a vital tool for economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and heritage tourism.

In the coming year, PNJ will continue to provide direct support to Historic Preservation Commissions, work closely with communities and owners of our Ten Most Endangered Historic Places, expand Preservation Bites and other educational programming, offer more in-person and virtual events, and develop new opportunities to celebrate and preserve New Jersey's diverse historic resources. As our organization continues to grow, so does our ability to serve communities throughout the Garden State.

Your membership makes this work possible. Every membership directly supports our advocacy, educational programs, preservation initiatives, and statewide outreach efforts. Together, we can continue protecting New Jersey's irreplaceable historic places while inspiring future generations to value and preserve our shared heritage.
