Greetings past and present Landmark Society Volunteers,

We are excited for our 2026 Inside Downtown Tour taking place Saturday & Sunday, September 12th & 13th from 10am-4pm.

We have had great success this year in selecting sites for this tour, securing nine (9) sites that require your skills as Site Managers. As in years past, we will have two shifts for each day, a morning shift from 9:30am-1pm, and an afternoon shifts from 12:30pm-4:30pm.

Site 1 – First Federal Plaza (will also house headquarters, which I will supervise all weekend)                                                           

( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 2 – Reynolds Arcade ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docent)

Site 3 – The Powers Building ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 4 – The Wilder Building ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docent)

Site 5 – The Academy Lofts ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 6 – The Rockford (Old City Hall) ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 7 – Hochstein School of Music ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 8 – Modern Townhouses on N. Plymouth Ave. ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Site 9 – Rowhouse on N. Washington  ( 1 Site Manager per shift + docents)

Please respond to this email if you would like to be a Site Manager.Your duties as Site Manager will be to meet with the building owners (I will provide name and contact information), and identify and arrange your specific docent needs.

Our Inside Downtown Site Manager Training meeting will be held at Warner Castle on Thursday, August 13th at 6 PM – 7PM. At this meeting we will review the sites on the tour, the volunteer schedule, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
